Parents in Vasant Kunj and Vasant Vihar usually want the same thing from a kids play area: somewhere children can burn off energy safely while the adults sit back for a bit. The trick is finding a place with enough variety that a four-year-old and an eight-year-old are both happy.
What makes a good kids play area
Look for more than one type of play. Bouncing, climbing, driving and imaginative play all tire children out in different ways. A good play area also separates activities by age, so smaller children are not run over by bigger ones.
Check for clear rules too. Grip socks, supervised zones and staff on the floor are signs that the venue takes safety seriously.
Activities at OWI Kids World
OWI Kids World in Chattarpur is a short trip from the Vasant Kunj and Vasant Vihar side of South Delhi. Here is what children can do, with the age guide we follow:
- Trampoline Arena with a foam pit: ages 3 years to adults
- Ball Pool and Soft Play: ages 1 to 5 years
- Go-Karting: ages 5 and above
- Wild Wheels RC car arena: ages 5 and above
- Little Diggers Mini JCB: ages 5 and above
- Car Wash: ages 3 to 8 years
- Adventure Course with zip line, air cycle, sky skating and bridges: ages 5 and above, with sky skating and the hurdle bridge for ages 7 and above
Tips for a smooth visit
Bring grip socks for the Trampoline Arena and Soft Play, since they are mandatory. Dress children in comfortable clothes they can move in. If you are bringing a toddler and an older child, split the visit between the Soft Play zone and one of the older-kid activities so everyone gets a turn.
